A history of success.
Courtesy Cleaners was founded in 1995 by Peter Baffoni and Edmund Ricci. The initial site was located on Post Road in Warwick, and comprised a retail location and a 5,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing center. In 1996, the Courtesy Cleaners manufacturing plant was recognized as one of the most advanced facilities in the nation and received a Merit Award for Design in the national trade magazine American Drycleaner.
In 2003, David Gianfrancesco joined the executive team as a partner in charge of manufacturing operations. His leadership, combined with the efforts of our entire staff has resulted in Courtesy Cleaners' ranking in 2007 and 2008 as one of America's Best Cleaners. We are deeply honored by this recognition, as it means we are in the Top 1% in the country.
In 2004, Courtesy Cleaners has built another award winning plant. This time we built an 11,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and once again we received a Merit Award from the national trade magazine American Drycleaner.
Since then, Courtesy Cleaners has grown into Rhode Island's premier garment care company. With stores strategically located throughout the state, we now service thousands of customers every week. We also proudly service Rhode Island's most prestigious hotels in Providence, Warwick, and other locations throughout the state.
At Courtesy Cleaners, we are consistently seeking new ways to make our customers lives easier, experimenting with new techniques and programs including convenient home and office delivery. We look forward to many more years of providing the finest, most cutting edge, and most courteous service to our thousands of valued customers.
